Norway has spawned an amazing number of great bands, not least in the metal genre, and the fact that we can arrange a festival of this size shows that the metal community wants to and needs to have a place to come together. To hang out with friends, meet new friends with similar taste in music, watch great concerts, talk to the bands who mingle with everyone else between shows and in general have a good time! And every year the number of visitors from abroad increases - people come from faraway places like USA, Argentina, Brazil, Hungary, UK, Italy, Canada and other countries - which goes to show that the Inferno Festival has an even bigger appeal than we thought. This is not the cheapest place in the world to travel to and stay in, so we welcome the foreign metalheads with wide open arms!
