We're Back from the IBMA!!!!

Wow, what a great time! Be sure to check out all the great pictures I took on the trip....
We only went down for 2 days, but they were filled with great picking, showcase bands and the exhibit hall filled wall to wall with bluegrass! Oh my, the banjos there were everywhere! (I am banjo crazy you know... I think there were other things too. (HAHAHA)

Got to see Doyle Lawson and Del McCoury for the first time... and lots of great showcase bands as well. Liked King Wilke and their set, enjoyed Wildfire too!

Did I mention there were lots of banjos?

And you'll never know who we met in Louisville.... well actually in Jeffersonville, across the river at Hooters.... YES... Jared from the Subway commercials! (You just know that we have to go a be a litle wild at these things, and I got to experience Hooters for the first time. Good wings.... lots of nice looking men there I must add. (gg) Just being silly...

Did I mention the banjos at the exhbit hall?

Dang, it was a good time even if we had to drive all night home... make sure you get to the convention next year, it's going to be in Nashville, so I hear!
