Hello Friends:
Once again we have been called upon to pray for another fellow picker. Greg Davis has a terminal illness from which there seems little hope. He is expected to last only a few precious months while his illness gets progressively worse.
Once where there were fingers running the fretboard of a guitar and a voice singing. There now is a guitar that gathers dust and a voice that is silent.
Let us pray!
" Father, how heavy our minds are, frought with worry and our hearts filled with sorrow. Yet, we are reminded of the grace and hope you have given us, to which we give much thanks unto you. We rejoice in knowing that the circle is unbroken. Father, if it is Your perfect will to call Greg home then we pray for that glorious day to come. If it is Your perfect will to loss Greg from the illness he is now under, then we also pray for that miraculous day. We do not know what the future holds but we do know who holds the future. We trust in You and praise Your mighty name! Glory be unto You Father.
We pray for Greg's family and friends for strength and understanding. We pray also for wisdom for the health professionals who are caring for Greg. We ask for an army of angels to surround Gregs home and those of his family and friends. To keep watch and comfort those who come and go. Father we know that Greg is now under your protection. We thank you and glorify Your name. Hear our prayer Father!
