We have a 13 week old male doxie. We noticed his coloring was unique, but really thought nothing of it. I took him for his check up today and the Vet told me he is an Apple Dapple Doxie and is very rare. this makes our fifth dachshund and I have studied the breed extensively but have never heard of this color pattern. I was hoping someone could tell me if the Vet was correct-is this a rare pattern- and could we breed him? Thanks for any help.
