Hi all has anyone tried decapeptyl for pic is it used in usa I see one guy in Europe has been on this alone for many years no surgery no radiation. Thanks for all you do. John q
Yes, I have had 3 3month injections of it after failing Firmagon, and starting Zytiga.
Dekapeptyl seems to have fewer side effects than Lupron, but the hot flashes are a little more noticeable than when on Firmagon.
Big advantage is small needle in your posterior once every 3 months, rather than a large one in your abdomen every month :-)
