The squad (of 17) for this coming Sunday's Division One match Away to Europa at Albany Park is as follows:
Simon Jackson (GK), Stuart Dorward, Paul Woolston, Andrew Warmerdam, Paul Ellerker, Juneka Junior, Peter Murphy, Derek Dorward, Steve Cokell, Foysol Ahmed, Colin Bester, Daniel George, Kris Spyrou, Ritchie Copues, Chris 'Nugget' Beeden, James Walker & Conor Mc,Govern.
(We have named this squad already as we have no training this Tuesday...again !).
The above squad includes a number of players who may be unavailable (for all we know...but this is why we have named a squad of 17). The players in question are Conor Mc,Govern (Has he recovered from his ankle injury yet ?), Chris 'Nugget' Beeden (Said he is finding it a bit much travelling up to Hull or down to Portsmouth every week to visit his girlfriend, so maybe he might play a rare game for us instead !?), James Walker (e-mailed to explain that he has not been available for the past few months for various reasons, but can play again now) & Juneka Junior (Has he still got an injured foot/toe ?). Stuart and Derek Dorward are also slight doubts as they are going to Tony Speller's Stag Do in Central London the night before and are likely to be extremely pissed for this match...although that doesn't normally stop them playing !
Definitely unavailable for this match are of course Speller himself (through a long-term thigh injury in addition to his Stag Night), Terry Moore (On Holiday), Nick Vertigans (Ski-ing) and numerous other players who are no longer interested or were ruled out for the rest of the season through injury long ago.
As Albany Park used to be our Reserve Team's home ground, everybody should be able to make their own way there, but I can give players a lift from the Southbury Leisure Centre at 9.30.a.m. if necessary.
Wooly has just texted me to ask if somebody can give him a lift to (and from ?) the game on Sunday as he won't have his car.
He lives in Loughton, so it looks as if Murf might be the best bet (coming from Billericay).
If not, I can pick Wooly up, but it will mean I won't be able to give people a lift from the Southbury Leisure Centre (e.g. Juneka Junior, Colin, Kris, etc.)
