A wee request

I wonder if I could ask my fellow forum members to do the following.

The sit I have listed below is dedicated to supplying free breast scans to poor women in USA.
All you have to do is click on the site each day as you open up your computer.
It costs nothing except a wee bit of time but can work wonders for some poor female.
This is not a wind up.
The site is simple to use so please place it in your Favourites.
Thank you for reading this.

Re: A wee request

OK LR will try my best, but only for you.

Re: Re: A wee request

LR I can't get this site on to my favourites, but then I'm not much good at the computer. I have tried, though.

Re: A wee request

Dabbler,

Thanks, will get it fixed.

Re: A wee request

LR,
A commendable request, but curiosity drives me to ask: Why America, rather than Europe, UK, Ireland?

Re: A wee request

Dabbler,
Quite simple.
I have searched the web for sites like this one and failed to find any.
I presume it is because mamograms are available free in Europe. They certainly are in the UK, a situation I am personally very thankful for.

LR
Thank you for the explanation. America is certainly a nation for the rich or opportunistic, but can be hard on the poor sick.

Re: A wee request

Hi Lr,

Got into the site u requested and got Breast Enchancement, and a few others, not very nice, do'nt think I will bother with what the site requested.

Is this a windup.

Re: A wee request

There are still insufficient centres in the UK.
Katie, don't know where you've been looking!

Re: A wee request

Hi Dabbler,

Looked up the site LR printed, I am a great supporter of Breast Cancer as my boss's wife died of it a year ago, also another girl who worked with me has it and I know a few other girls with Breast Cancer.
I have tried LR's site again, the same thing came up.

I agree a mamogram should be free to every woman around the world.

America is so rich, but if you are poor in that country life is not soo good, though the poor I think are treated badly every where. (things never change, though they should).

Re: A wee request

Katie,
I really find your post extremely offensive.
All the site asks you to do is click a button to register a "hit" on the site.
To suggest that it is a "wind - up" is not only offensive but shows an amazing lack of sensitivity for a subject which has blighted my family.

Re: A wee request

Low Roader,

Sorry if u took my reply offensive, the subject is too serious for that, as I have lost a few friends with Breast Cancer and one seriously ill at the moment.
I have tried the site twice, and what I get up is not something I would want to do.

I again, am very sorry you took me up wrong, the subject is a very sensitive matter and I meant no ill to you or yours.

I have too many friends with cancer of late.

Re: A wee request

LR call me stupid, but I still cannot get that site on breast cancer.
