CORRECTION RE THE KILTIES.

Hi all. Just to let you know that the Hamilton Pipe Band in Lisburn yesterday was from Hamilton, Ontario. All those big Canadians, if only I'd known, not that I've anything against Scotsman, but you know, away over here from Canada. I could have taken one or two of them in for a wee cuppa something or other.

Didn't get to the dancing this afternoon. Was in town this morning with my daughter, who is off to Madeira tomorrow with husband and two of the family. Her elddest (18) isn't interested and as I told you wee Rachel is staying here. She had to go to M & S so I kindly accompanied her. Got a few bits and bobs (again), sneaked them into the bedroom. Well, the sales are on and I'm saving hubby a fortune. He's almost back to being hubby again. Bloomin' oul horses on since I came home, in the kitchen as well, as if he couldn't go into the front room. Younger son encourages him, not that he needs any encouragement.

Nice warm day so that's my excitement so far. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Katie, my Romford friend emailed to say that he thought his wife had a new bag, but was told, says he; "She'd had it a fortnight; silly me!"

She has photos of a brown bear crossing the road and a little cub bear following taking their time, elks, deer, wild goats, bisons.
Loved the Ice Fields, the Rockie Mountains, she stayed in log cabins and they looked lovely.

She put the photos on TV with sound, great stuff.

Re: CORRECTION RE THE KILTIES.

Hi all. I have worn new clothes and hubby hasn't even noticed. I have him baffled. As Katie says, if he does happen to mention a new outfit, I tell him I've had it for ages. If I told the truth, I have too many clothes but then, as a woman, can you have too many?

Re: CORRECTION RE THE KILTIES.

Ann,

Last call for the evening, lady had a outfit on today at Galway Races, which belonged to her mother 30 years old,
not bad looking on her, but I thought the English lady in question was a little short of a few.

Yes darling coming.........................

Re: Re: CORRECTION RE THE KILTIES.

Yes Ann,

U can have too many if u live in a tiny cottage with little wardrobe space. Oxfam knows me now by sight coming with the bags & books regularly.

Re: Re: CORRECTION RE THE KILTIES.

Katie, I'm disgusted with you. WHY are you watching the races? Hubby has some oul motorcycle race on this afternoon, same every Sunday and Saturday - sport and more sport. Strange thing is he never played sport in his life. I'm confinedvoluntarily to the kitchen reading the Sunday papers although it's lovely and warm and the smell of the roast is gorgeous.

Wee Rachel is here keeping me company with plenty of chat. Family fly off from Dublin about 7 pm. Well for them.
