Farmers Insurance
Welcome to my Forum about Farmers Insurance Company. Let my start by saying that I am trying to find enough people to join with me against Farmers to start a class action law suit. My story is this: On August 23, 2005 my household had a fire. Farmers took there sweet time calling us back, but once they did we were told that since we had replacement cost for our personal belongings, we had an option to replace or professionally clean. We chose replace. The very next day a professional cleaning company came to our home and told us Farmers had hired them to clean our belongings. We called our adjuster and he said they are not going to replace, the only thing they were going to do is clean. We were forced to sign an authorization form so the cleaning co. could take all our clothes, linen, everything cloth, even our shoes. Needless to say Farmers refuses to replace our furniture even though my family and I are allergic to the cleaning products used, not to mention the fact our furniture still smelled like smoke. We had to get a loan to buy furniture, and are getting by with minimal clothing. This is WRONG!!! Farmers should pay! Tell me your story, email me, and let's talk!!! We can win this if we stick together.
