God talks to me !
We went to the Family Camp and our Grandson complained the evening meetings were hard for him,because he had to sit still and listen ! I understand that and usually I put him to bed early at night,since he works so hard on being a kid.He was toast by the time it was 7.00 pm. But,as we talked about it,I told him,that God wants us to come to the House of God and listen and learn of His Ways ! He said:"But,God always talks to me.It is just hard to sit in the meeting.When I ride my bike,He always talk to me." I asked him:"So,what is He saying ?" He said:" God said:" I love your bike " I said...Yeah,He likes your Bike,as much as you do. That makes sense.Of course,God would come to His level and share life with him,at his age level. But,then the thing is...many people would think,why would God say a thing like that to a little boy ? My thought is...Why not ? God became a man.He took a form of man.So,that we could Identify with Him.He became like us,so we would know...He really,truly understands what it is to be human.The joys and the sorrows that go with it. He identifies with us.He is willing to share our sorrows and joys.He walks alongside of us.That is normal part of Christian Life.He is not a God from far off.He wants us to draw near to Him. So,it is not too hard to believe,that God would identify with a little boy,who loves his new bike ! So,in his life...He is hearing the Voice of God.He is feeling the approval of God and feeling His Love. Is that impossible ? No ! God wants to talk to all of us.Every believer can hear the Voice of God and be aware of His Presence. It is not hard.It is natural part of our lives on this earth.To know Him.To feel His Love and approval and it is available to all. Do you hear the Voice of God in your heart ? Do you feel His love and know that He identifies with you ,in your struggles ? In your joys ? In your life situations ? |
