Stop Fighting !
My daughter went to a Mission Trip to India. One girl on the team really liked to rile her up. Just provoked her daily.And I guess...she just liked the Idea of drawing blood ! In any case,my daughter is dear soul and walks close to God,but she is reactionary,too.She is a fighter. Yes,sir,her sinful nature rises up real fast and she sees red ! Now,the Elders pulled her aside and said...Now..do not get entangled.Stay out of it and as she did that they had peace.At least,she did.The other girl,maybe did not..but she had victory in Jesus and sweet peace. It thought her something.It was very important lesson.She was loved by the Elders,even though,they she did not keep her sinful nature under her foot. She was loved and they gave her good counsel.As a result,she learned something that is valuable for life. STOP FIGHTING. That is good lesson for life.Just stop it.They hurt you.You want to get even.You want apology.You want some acknowledgement of injury and pain and yet...God says...STOP FIGHTING ! Stop it ! It does not matter,if they realize,how they affected you.They might not...care...but,we can have sweet victory in Jesus...because we STOPPED. We can just go with the Flow of the Holy Spirit. What is the Lord doing ? Where does He want us ? Who is He leading us to ? That is where we go ? Don't waste time on opposition. Go with the Lord.Follow the Flow of the Spirit. And then you have Victory. |
