The Crown !
One Sunday Morning,we are ready to go to Church and our little girl stops in front of me and says in serious voice : "Look at me ! I look ugly.I do not look pretty like you ! I cannot go to Church !" I looked at her and said: " Well...what is the matter ? I see a nose,two eyes and mouth.Looks the same as yesterday ! Same girl.Same little face.I don't see anything wrong.So,what is wrong,now ?" She put her hands on her hips and said : "Well,I cannot go like this.Where is my CROWN ?" Oh,yes.The Crown ! Of course.No decent human being should go to Public without a Crown ! Of course.I had totally forgotten.This is serious issue ! The Crown ! "Huh ? The Crown ? Baby-girl,you lost your crowns or you broke them.We have to buy need ones.But,we really don't have any crowns,now !" She nodded and accepted her fate.We went to Church without one.She survived just fine. But,I realized,how often we all forget to put our Crown on ! We are Children of the Great King.The King of Heaven. The Great King of heaven is our father.He is our Guide and Leader forever.Our Identity as believers come from this.We have a Father in Heaven.He is our King and He is our maker.He is our friend.He is our counselor.He is our Ever Present Help in times of need. If we forget that...we lose our Identity.The Crown is symbol of our Identity.We are His Princesses. Your are His beloved Princess and I am .Not matter what age we are.We are beloved to God.We are loved. We are the Apple of His Eye. So,yes...we should put our Crown on each morning. Before you leave your house.Before you dress up. Please...do put your Crown on.Remember ,who you belong to ! Remember,your Identity ! You are not just any old person,living on the same old street forever.You are daughter or son of a King of Heaven and you ought to keep your identity intact ! Please,do put your Crown on.Remember,nothing makes you shine better,than the knowledge,that you belong You belong to the King of Kings and In his eyes.. there is just no-one and I mean...NO one...just like you. So...please...go do your hair and put that Crown on ! Bless You. Marja |
