What would you like to be,when you grow up ?
Our Grandson asked our girl:"What you want to be when you grow up ?" She says:" I will STOP " I had to think about that one ! What is she trying to say ? She has hard time expressing herself,at times. So,I said:" What does it mean,when you say "STOP" ? " She says..."When people drive cars,someone stands there and they STOP ! " ( Usually,the Flag person is there,if they are fixing the road or building houses) So,I realized,what it was all about.It was about being Traffic Director.The Flag person,who makes sure,each person takes turns on the road and only go when it is right time to go. But,that was interesting thought: "I want to be a STOP-PERSON ." I thought about it,sometimes in life,we need people who can STOP Others,from doing wrong thing.We need a friend or Pastor of Counselor or Coach or someone who says....Not that way ! Go that way ! Someone,who shows the right direction. Someone,who can untangle the mess on the road. We need people like that.Are you going to be a STOP- PERSON,for Jesus ? Are you willing to give direction for others ? To guide them on a way to heaven ? And when they get stuck in the Traffic of life,can you show them the way home to God ? See,the little girl was right,we do need STOP people Blessings to all of you and Angel protection over you and your loved ones ! And ask God to give you a STOP PERSON,too ! Someone you can trust and talk things over with. It is needed for our protection and for our growth. MARJA |
