I agree too. I have had this happen to me and then when (and if) they call back I don't reschedule with them. 9 times out of 10 they don't call back though; but I belong to a home day care group and another providers forum and I tell providers what happened so that parent has really burned their bridges. I don't think parents realize how small the day care world is.
There are other parents out there so I would not take this one. As someone else posted.... parents are on their best behaviour at the beginning could imagine what this parent would be like after she gets comfortable with you? SCARY!!!
