Subject:   What would you do?

Message:   Hi there, just wanted to know how other daycare providers would handle this situation. I had a parent want to re-schedule her interview because she was too tired and wanted to go back to bed. We set up for the following day only to have her to call that morning to ask for the next day. Well today she called back to cancel again asking for Friday. I told her that I already had plans for that day. She said she would call back on the weekend or next week. Now in my opinion if someone doesn't value my time enough to show up the first or at least the second time she sets up an interview then she is unlikely to respect my time enough to pick up her child on time or pay prompty. I do have contracts with my parents as I have had problems with being taken advantage of before yet it can still very awkward to enforce these policies. What I would like to know is what I should do if she calls back. Would you set up another meeting or would you cut your losses? It is only for one child for before/after school until August. Am I over-reacting feeling that "three strikes your out?"
