We after much thought on this one today, I confronted the mother ( Funny that you said the exact thing that happens quite often...one parent saying one thing & the other saying the opposite, as that happens with these parents...lol) and told her that I was very upset that she would accuse me of starving her child. She did a complete 180 degree, once I told her that perhaps she might be better off looking else where for a daycare provider....funny once you lay it on the line how thing change...lol. She begged me to keep her child as blah blah blah ba blah....she didn't need to go on & on about how good a daycare provider I was...I already know that....lol. So the long story short is that after all this, the child is not even potty trained at home either....boy what a big surprise that was...NOT. So we agreed that the child will go back to getting the full snack that I provide & the parents will get the potty training going once the child is ready to go on their own. Thanks for your input....just another one of those days I guess...surely more to come. |
