I would say if all the parents have to complain about is no nap, they should be very lucky. As long as you provide a nuturing enviornment, make sure the children are safe and given stimulating activites and good food they have no place to complain. If parents only seen some of the daycare providers I see when getting my children and daycare ones at his school, I am sure they would be horrified! You cannot make a child sleep if they are not tired (and the time change hasn't helped). And as a daycare provider, we should be encouraging other peoples children to do and try things but not make them-we are limited when they are not our own! |
