I don't stop the parent's from bringing their children because of cold and cough. They really have to have flu/fever, chicken pox, jaundice, basically anything contagious for me to stop them from coming to the daycare. Your parent is right,cold and cough is going to happen numerous times, especially during winter and parents can't necessarily take all that time off. Schools don't stop kids from attending if you have a cold, runny nose and cough and therefore same should apply for daycare. Infections and contagious diseases sickness is the only reason I stop the daycare kids from attending. |
