If you are flexible as far as the days, you should be able to find someone who already has part timers and can fit you in opposite of them. I am in that possition. I live in Bowmanville and have several part timers- some with rotating shifts so they need different days each week. I also have a "teacher type" family who will not need care in the Summer and will likely only send their child one day a week. I find it very hard to find two pt families needing opposite days (no overlap) and I have had part timers here for over 2 years that take up ft spots because I just can't fill the opposite days. I would be so excited to get a call from someone wanting pt who could be flexible on the days. I especially have spaces in the summer as that is when a lot of people take vacation or have off work and our summers tend to be very quiet.
Keep looking, you will find someone. |
