Hi there
I know this is a posting forum for daycare providers and I hope you don't mind me crashing it for a quick question. I am a full time working mother of 2. I have always been in the position to have my mother watch my children but find now that I wish my kids had been in a daycare atmosphere with other children. Especially now since my son is in Jk I see the importance of it. My daughter is 2.5. My question is I have contacted several providers about starting out with 2 days a week during the summer. Say Thurs/Fri or Mon/Tues and it never really fits into what they are looking for. I understand that it would take up 2 full time spaces so I'm not sure if it would be worth while to providers? My mother isn't ready to stop watching the kids (I know its my decision) but really its all she has and I can't take that away from her.
I guess I don't really know what my question is...I am just really struggling with what to do.
Btw just a thank you for the wonderful thing that you all take on...its hard for parents to 'let go' of their children but reading some of your posts...you do care and its nice to know...
