Message:   hi everyone, i have been doing home daycare for 14 years now and as always i struggle with my rates and being fair..in my school area, jk/sk only go half days, for full time kids i charge 30 until they are 2, then 28, then when they are in school half days 26...i was wondering that when jk/sk goes full time in two years, what people were planning on charging...this is hard as they are younger and require more care and still take up a spot, but will be at school all day every day...
also i was wondering what people charged for before and after school care...i like to have a flat rate as some kids are different every day(most of them just are after school)...i am open from 7 -5...right now i charge 55/week and 75 if they come to me at lunch, regardless how many hours they are at my house(many of my parents think this is too much)
