Acceptance Speech
Warren Beatty made an acceptance speech for his Thalberg award in 1999. It was a poem entitled "The Lonely Man" or something like that. Can anyone tell me exactly what it was and who the author is? |

Hmm...not really familiar with that, but I do recall Beatty's acceptance speech including a line to the effect of "and blowing a kiss to all the girls I've loved before." He also thanked all of his peers for leading him to his family and to all of the great things he had discovered through his career. He also ended almost every sentence with the line "I'll try harder." I know that the transcript of his acceptance speech is available somewhere online, I'll try to dig it up 4 u if I can find it... |
