Runes and zodiac correspondence
I am aware that your site corresponds zodiac with runes, however other sites are at varience with your interpretation My question - Is it valid to interpret/correspond the runes to signs of the zodiac? |

I have to answer you with another question: Is it invalid to offer such correspondences? We had hundreds of requests for such information and Leila Vey offered to prepare the Tarot articles on the rune meanings pages to answer those queries. The information is offered as a service to visitors and represents Leila's opinions, nothing more. Yes, there are differences in opinion between various websites. But then again, there are differences in opinion between any number of websites about the meanings of the runes themselves, so that is hardly surprising. |

Thanks for your quick response - much appreciated. The reason for my query is that I design/make personalised jewellery combining a person's runic name and the corresponding astrological sign. To avoid confusion I will follow Runemaker for advice. Once again thanks Greg |

A dangerous occupation for those who have not studied runic archaeology and historical linguistics, if I may say so. If that includes you, I would recommend checking out the Runemaker transcription page for some pointers to the pitfalls. |
