runemaker.com - production cut-backs
From June 2007 I will be dropping some products from the Runemaker range and suspending production of all rune sets - hopefully this latter will not be permanent, but I can't say for sure at present. This has been a very difficult decision for me, but one that I should have made months ago, I have simply been putting it off for too long. The fact is I have been in poor health for some time and I find it takes me a lot longer now to make a set of runes than it did in the past. This move is a result of some long absences from the workshop and some recent difficulties with computer hardware that have soaked up too much of my available time. Consequently, many orders for rune sets and other products that should have been delivered many weeks ago are still sitting on the workbench waiting for completion. I have therefore decided not to take on any new orders for these products until I clear the backlog and my health improves - if it ever does! People have been telling me for years I was killing myself with work and I laughed. But maybe now I am starting to believe them. When you visit the Runewares pages where all the products are featured you will see which ones are currently suspended. I apologise for these cut-backs and hope you will bear with me through this difficult period. If you have ordered something and are fed up waiting for delivery, just email me and I will of course refund your payment right away. |

Oh I am sooo sorry to hear your health is bad! I hope you get better soon!! Do you have any ready made sets that I can purchase? I was so hoping you could make sets for my family! Is there another runemaster that you can recommend? I am very enamored of the set you made for me and I will not p[purchase runes ever again that were not made on "ancestor ground". |

You're in poor health? Why not use your runes to heal you? |

Unfortunately even the runes cannot cure old age. |

I'm sorry to hear that. Oh, in case you didn't notice, this is Rauol. Sorry for not respecting you guys's beliefs and whatnot. Runic power doesn't seem plausible in the least to me, but I shouldn't've put you down just because that's what I thought. Anyway, hope you can forgive me. I'll stop spamming this forum. Rauol |

Dear Oswald, I am Darryl C. from Tennessee in the USA. I bought a beautiful custom rune set from you in 2003. I just wanted to extend my best wishes to you in your time of difficulty. During the process of completing my rune set, the attention to detail and easy, friendly communications we shared left me with a very warm impression of you, so it truly pains me to hear of your ailing health. Please, know that my wife and I extend our warmest regards and heartfelt desire for your speedy recovery to full health and happiness. Also, it is important for me to tell you that I am honored to own a rune set made by your sincere and caring hands. Health and Happiness, Darryl C. |

I'm very sorry to hear about this and wish you well, for without your site I don't think I would have known anything important about the Nordic Runes. I'm also sorry if I went too far regarding my last topic post. Even an open-minded intro warning to a dogmatic interpretation wasn't enough to get past the rules of your forum's belief policy. I now realize these faults and don't blame you not one bit. As for your poor health, try contemplating the Naudiz rune. It's great for poor mental health (because it decreases your unneeded desires and keeps you in the present moment) and pain (because it seems to cut its intensity by half). It works well for me and I hope it works well for you. So get well soon! |

I'm so sorry to hear of your poor health. I just found your site last night and it is wonderful! It is so heartfelt and generous. Here's hoping a fresh spring of good health to burst forth from within, to bounce you back into the stream of things. With all good wishes, Pollyanne Hollywood, CA |

I am terribly sorry to hear about your declining health. I also know that you do not share the Christian faith, but, nonetheless, know that I am praying for you. Best wishes, Jade Sandstedt |

Thanks Jade and everyone else. I have passed all the comments on to Bob and I'm sure he would want to express his appreciation for all the kind sentiments. Unfortunatley, he is not doing terribly well just now and is expecting more surgery in April. Frankly it doesn't look too good. But I know he struggled through to finish the new book recently and is taking a rest for the moment. Not many poeple know this Jade, but Bob was brought up in a christian family and was actually confirmed into the Church of Ireland as a young boy. It was later in his life that he gave it up for his own brand of paganism. We have talked about this many times and I know he has always respected the right of any person to follow the faith of their choosing and accepts that many of the christian teachings are universally moral and humane. I know he will be glad of your prayers. |

I am sorry that Bob is not doing well. I had hoped that he would create a tattoo for me. I wish him all the best! I did sign up and pay for the member area so that I could browse the 5000 bindrunes that he has already created to see if any of them would match the initials I need. But I get a 404 error "cannot find the document" when I try to access it. all other member pages work. Does anyone else know how to get that fixed? |

Hi Maria, So sorry about the bindrune gallery on the tattoo website. We had an outage on the database server that prevented loading of the bindrune images causing the 404 page to come up. I'm happy to say it is now fixed and you can access the personal bindrune gallery and bindrune search engine now. |
