The season
Hello gold boys hope your well, have you finished your league games now? hod did you feel the season went, you seemed to start slowly but picked up as the season went on. Hopefully we can put the finishing touches to our season on Sunday. I've heard there may only be two divisions next season with the top 4 or 5 in div 2 joining with the teams in div 1 so we may be playing each again before to long. Have a good summer, |

Yea our season was ok, started pretty bad as we didnt have any pre season friendlies, then we started getting goin shame we lost to brackley brazil or would have had you in a final which would have been nice end to the year, I fink we finished 4th maybe 5th in the end. We still to score more goals, need a striker do think you can loan us one of yours?? Yea I heard bout the 2 leagues thing think it depends on if their are any new teams joining. Obviously if we go in the top league will be tough but think we have enough to stay up. Whereas we would be one of the title contenders if we go in the 2nd league but it will be going back on ourselves in a way e.g playing teams that we were beating 3 years ago when we 1st started. So we will have to see anyway good luck with the quad, Im sure ONE day we will beat you |

Cheers mate, hopefully Sunday will be our 5th trophy of the season though, we've already done the quad (league, reg adkins, tony harvey & john wood). Would have been good to play you in the final, we've had some decent battles the last couple of years. If it does go to two divs i feel you'd be better off playing in div 1, ok you might struggle at times but you should always want to ply athe highest level you can, you could get dragged down to a really poor standard week in week out playing in the bottom division Have a good summer |

I agree with lion roars we need to aim high but as far as needing a striker goes i think i have done a good job we i do however, need a partner at the top that is consistent but thats a management issue i believe woody could do well teming up with me but we will see if he can commit to the cause next season but saying all of that im a striker so i wouldnt want to lose my place as i worked hard for it but hey thats football! cheers for a great season good luck lions and come on you Gold!
