Re: RADIO SHOW comments
Greetings Britsound!
Great show...listened to all the way from the UK!
One suggestion is for a 30 second 'UK Sports Review' as I am sure US listeners would want to know the latest on 'Soccer', 'Rugger' and Monty Panesars batting!

Re: RADIO SHOW comments
Yeah, that's a good idea actually. We'll look into that. I get asked a lot if I could explain the rules of cricket. Of course, it's only a 2 hour show - so I wouldn't have much of a chance to do so ;-)!

Re: RADIO SHOW comments
WHY IS THE PODCAST NOW ONLY 1 HOUR? WHY CAN'T WE HAVE THE FULL SHOW?

Re: RADIO SHOW comments
Hi, thanks for your comments. I know how you feel. However, the decision was taken because of exclusivity and licensing agreements that do not permit us to podcast this show in its entirety. I urge you to contact your local alernative/rock/aaa station and ask them to take Britsound on their station. You can tell them it's also free for them to have. That way you'll be able to hear the whole show from start to finish.
Cheers!

Britsound ... you have cost me money. I now have a playlist on my iPod named "Britsound Made Me Do It"
So, thanks ... I'll send you a bill.

Re: RADIO SHOW comments
It really IS mean to give us only one hour... I mean probably I could ask my radio station to play the show - IF I WAS IN THE U.S., that is. I somehow doubt my local German station would like to send a two hour all-English show, great as it may be...
Anyway, you rock!
@ Lebowski: I know how you feel...

Re: RADIO SHOW comments
Why of course I got it - don't you remember? You made a remark that nobody ever said thankyou the very same day I had written... in case you did not get my thankyou mail, THANK YOU!!! It was awesome...
Anyway, you made some bet about the football championship, and I think I won it... and THIS package I never received!
Still hoping to find a way to get my full two hours of Britsound,
Ansgar

Re: RADIO SHOW comments
Yeah, it was 'ripped' from his Live In Slow Motion DVD, so it hasn't really been released as an audio CD...yet.

the rules of cricket
Hope this helps!!!!!!!!!!!
You have two sides, one out in the field and one in.
Each man that's in the side that's in goes out, and when he's out he comes in and the next man goes in until he's out.
When they are all out, the side that's out comes in and the side thats been in goes out and tries to get those coming in, out.
Sometimes you get men still in and not out.
When a man goes out to go in, the men who are out try to get him out, and when he is out he goes in and the next man in goes out and goes in.
There are two men called umpires who stay out all the time and they decide when the men who are in are out.
When both sides have been in and all the men have out, and both sides have been out twice after all the men have been in, including those who are not out, that is the end of the game!

First, I want to say that we are proud to have a professional affiliation with BritSound. Second, I would like to say that we have even GREATER things ahead in our alliance. Razorlight signed up today - check out their profile here http://www.sonicjive.com/razorlight.
And BritSound runs a featured video of the day - updated daily (today's video is "Annie Let's Not Wait" by Guillemots). The COOLEST thing is with our new technology you can download each daily video to any portable device, including an iPod, PSP, zune player or any cellular phone (US service plans only - For Now!) and it is absolutely FREE. The profile page is located at http://www.sonicjive.com/britsoundpromotions
Check it out - vote on which videos should be played, and download them for FREE. And say thanks and "Cheers!" to Rob Quicke - he and everyone at BritSound Radio are tremendous people and we are grateful for the tremendous affiliation we share with them.
Warm Regards,
Mike
