Message:   I have just seen the post from Chris about Swallow damaged whilst in the winding hole at Hockley Heath.

We were moored at Swallow Cruisers during the summer months for 3 years and it was common for Omega to be moored in the winding hole as it is quite large and even with boats moored on either side was still wide enough for boats to wind. During the third year we acquired a large dent as well which most of the owners assumed was due to someone hitting Omega whilst winding although of course this was only supposition as no-one actually saw the boat being hit, however, to do that sort of damage it must have been hit extremely hard!
