Boat Name:   Steelaway
Message:   Carol,

It wasn't easy to wind. I had to come out of the lock and reverse into the winding hole. The crew then dragged the front of the boat around to face the opposite direction. I don't think it would have been possible with three boats in the winding hole.

It's marked as a winding hole in Nicholson's and on the waterscape guide.

I've just had a look on Google maps. There are four boats in the winding hole but it does look bigger than it did in real life.
