Message:   True Jerry true. I read a reply to a letter in this months` Canal boat mag. that BW are actively chasing people who flagrantly breach the boat licensing regs by impounding the offending boat. This would be a tad draconian for mooring in a winding hole or on a lock mooring but it does beg the question; what does BW do? Having spent some 17 yrs cruising on hire boats and now with O/S, I feel the BW signage is adequate and the whole issue boils down to education and boaters being generally considerate.\\ah well, human nature eh ? Twas ever thus.
