Message:   Hi Colin,
Agree with you that inconsiderate mooring at locks is irritating, but not as infuriating as people who moor in winding holes. We were held up a couple of weeks ago at Aynho by someone trying to turn ahead of us with a boat thoughtlessly moored in his way.

If you've planned to turn at a particular point and an empty moored boat makes it impossible, what do you do? Send crew to untie it, bow haul it out of the way and tie it up again when you winded? Or just go on to the next winding space? What's the protocol here
