Dual-boot - Win XP & Slack with recovery DVD
Hi there, I've got HP nc6320 laptop with Windows XP. I've got no installation Windows disk, but I have made by myself recovery DVDs, which usually if there is problem clean up my hard and do not give me option to fixing it. So, I have read your article "How To Multi-Boot Operating Systems" and liked it very much. I was thinking about the last case - to make double-bootable system which on the MBR use the NTLDR, buttt... i have no floppy on the machine... and without installation cd/dvd of XP but all-erasing recovery dvd i don't know what to do. I was thinking to use instead of floppy to use flash memory to write the mbc of the slack but i am not sure if it is going to work... Thank you in advance! |
