VCD only plays ending

I downloaded VCDplayer to view a semi-pro VCD I was given in Indonesia. The installation seemed okay and I'm getting the hang of the controls, I think. I saw the VCD on a video player in Indonesia and the disk was okay...

But when I browsed for the VCD, then clicked track 1, the player zoomed to the last track and played the end credits only. It has sound, good picture quality--what I am doing wrong that I can't start at track 1? I tried everything I could think of to try.

Re: VCD only plays ending

Subhash VCDPlayer can play only standard VCDs (MPEG-1).

It cannot play SVCDs or DVDs. Sometimes, it plays all chapters of a DVD but I have noticed the same behaviour you have explained with DVDs rather than VCDs.

Maybe your VCD is not a standard VCD.

I suggest you use VLC player. This player can play everthing.

Subhash VCDPlayer is useful for playing regular VCDs Windows Media Player compatible media files. It has certain other features you will not find in other player and that's why people use it.

If you need any more help, not necessarily related to VCDs, I will be glad to help.
