Networking problem in Win xp and Win 98

hi
Thanks for providing such a informative stuff on websit
My problem is that i have two pc ( Networked) one is with win xp and othere is win 98.
i can explore the win 98 pc from win Xp pc but unable to explore the pc win xp pc from win 98 PC .As it asked "" You must supply a password to make a connection"
I tried making user of win 98pc on win xp pc but it didnot worked
pls help me out

In your WinXP machine, go to the Dialup and Networking component in Explorer and start a new connection. Follow the steps to allow a machine to connect to your machine (there are several options listed there). Share a folder in your machine and set full permissions.

In your Win98 machine, go to Start->Find->computers and double click the the WinXP machine (its name will be displayed). The shared folder will be open.
