Report:
Lake Ontario continues to produce consistent catchs of kings. Boats from Fairhaven to Henderson are reporting good fishing. We're right in the middle, here at Port Ontario. We landed 6 kings and lost several more off the Salmon river today. The fish slid in again to around 140-120fow and were coming anywhere from 70ft to 110ft down. With the thermalcline down around 80-90ft. Most boats did best in the early-mid morning. We were no exception with no hits after 10 Oclock-so get out early. The river will be flowing at 750cfs this weekend and i'm afaid it might suck up a some of fish (Coming sooner than later). Also coming soon (within a week or two) will be in depth reports on www.theriverguide.com so keep checking for the latest on the Salmon river and Lake Ontario. I'll keep posting here also. good fishin guys and keep safe out there its been pretty rough lately. |
