Article: Hi Ron,
Glad you found the Forum and posted your message. Myron posted one circa 8/22 complementing the website, but the Bravenet server had a major problem immediately thereafter and his message disappeared. They don't think it will happen again.
Would you find it useful if we made a section on the OFOF website where Foundation officers and directors could post information/discussions such as this for general public viewing? It would be easily done.
Let me know. I could also copy this one over there if yhou like.
Joe

Replying to Original Article: The Oroville Foundation of Flight has met on the previous Wednesdays at the "FRANCISCO" restaurant in Oroville. Several issues have been reviewed and acted upon.
Among which is the proposal to install underground electrical service to the building site on Wes Barrett Lane. Plans have been drafted nd submitted to the City of Oroville (property owner) and will be reviewed at the coming City Council meeting on Sept. 5,00.
Final erection of the last of three flag poles at our Doner Wall of Fame has brought that project to completion. Allowing us to permanently place the name plaques of members and community enthusiasts who have contributed "TO MAKE THESE FLIGHT FACILITIES POSSIBLE"
Air Filtration Co has donated a Steel/Vinyl structure measuring 25' x 60' and 16' tall. Chapter and Foundation members will be removing this structure and errecting it on the building pad at Wes Barrett lane temporarilly. This "Briefing Hut" will serve the Foundation as an activity center for meetings, temporay "class room" for aviation education projects, and construction center for the future permanent building/hangar.
